I was looking for a fun custom cake for my boyfriend who loves pickles and I came across Cake Jewel. When I asked if she could do a pickle jar cake there was no hesitation. I was really excited to see it but nothing could prepare me for the finished product! It looked more like a pickle jar than actual pickle jars do! It was amazing, everyone I showed couldn't believe that it was a cake. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I wasn't able to give the cake right away but Jewel informed me that I would be able to freeze it. I froze it for a month and let it defrost one day before revealing it to the belated birthday boy. It looked just as perfect as the day I got it and tasted just as fresh! I wanted to get a fun birthday cake for my friend who had just moved into a new apartment and had been painting non-stop. I asked Jewel if she could make a paint-can birthday cake for me and it was off to the races!
