Hi there, welcome to my website! I'm Jewel Burgess, a cake artist from Sacramento, CA. I live here with my husband Dana and our kids, who are my biggest fans and critics. I love creating realistic cakes that look like food, animals, plants, or anything else that inspires me. I use high-quality ingredients and a lot of passion to make each cake a unique and delicious masterpiece.

I started making cakes for fun when my son turned one, and I had no clue what I was doing. I learned everything from Google, YouTube, and trial and error. I never imagined that one day I would be on Food Network's Halloween Wars: Hayride of Horror in 2017. That was an amazing experience that pushed me to grow as a baker and an artist.
